Today's Updates:

Awesome Work!
Today, I got to see/be a part of...

Molly Goodsite sent me videos of 4 kids' Rube Goldberg designs and they were INCREDIBLE!!! One of them was done by one of our most resistant learners and it was soooo cool and had incredible editing!!!!

Tiffany Tardio-Weber's Kinder class meeting! The kids (and Tiffany) shared experiments for E day. Tiffany asked amazing prompting questions to help the kids share their work, and there was great parent support, too! So much fun!

Betty Cwiak's virtual book club had special guests today---Jeff and Rachelle! Rachelle added to the conversation, and Jeff (as expected) had to be refocused a few times. I heard the conversations were fabulous...thanks, Betty, for making this happen!

It's been so fun joining in learning this week---please let me know if I can see what's going on with you, see what you've got planned, or see student work. It truly makes my day!!!!

Close Up Plans and Report Cards
More to come on materials pick up/class close out plans as well as details on closing out grades. We've got ideas and schedules to share next week!!!

This is open to EVERYONE, and I know the kids would love to see faces from both buildings, from the Kitchens, from the Buses...they miss you ALL!

ABC COUNTDOWN
Thank you, Amanda Lorenz! 💗

Reminders:
Grab and Go
We continue to distribute on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal!

Building Access
When you come into the buildings to get stuff, please be sure to turn off your lights and shut your door when leaving. Helps us save on energy. THANK YOU!

All superintendents have been asked by the Lake County Health Department to make sure the following are in place for all staff who come onsite:

  • No one can come to work who is sick and/or has a temperature at or above 100.4.
  • Staff must take their temperatures at home.
  • If you don't have a thermometer at home, let the administrator on site know and we'll take your temperature for you.
  • All staff should wear gloves and masks when onsite and handling materials that will be sent home to families.

HOW TO'S:

If you were in the car and the best song ever came on, what would it be?

Just sayin'. Land like a superhero today!!!
