Today's Updates:

Coming Soon
*A "Summer Smarties" webpage on the District site that will provide summer learning activities for your kids if families want to use them. These will include re-teaching activities for skills and extension activities for kids who are ready to stretch and do more. Please email to let me know if you are interested in helping collaborate on this effort.

*"Monday Messages" from me to keep families informed on plans for the Fall. I'll email in a blog form just like the Daily Update, and it will arrive each Monday to make sure families have all the most current information.

*The "Monday Memo" will continue for staff over the summer, too. You'll always get information before I push it out to families. Again--if anything comes up that you need to know immediately, I'll make sure you get communication ASAP. The goal is that you will know info will be posted each Monday, it will all go into one blog spot, and that you won't feel that you have to check your email all the time to know what's up.

If you have other suggestions for ways to make the summer smooth, please let me know.

Don't forget to sign up for options for Filling the Buckets summer learning! I'd like all input by June 5, please (remember, stipend proposals are due June 5, as well).

COVID-19 Procedures
Thanks to staff who have communicated known/suspected COVID-19 cases to me, as well as to everyone asking questions and sharing your thoughts.  Please know that I take each report seriously and follow up, balancing confidentiality and safety. I will continue to do so.

As we plan for some staff to begin to return more consistently to the school sites, please follow the guidelines that have consistently been listed further down in the Vitamin. These expectations have not changed. I have updated to add a bit more detail--please see below.

Additionally, if you are concerned that you have COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19 and have been or are scheduled to be onsite, please let your principal, Maddie Espinoza, and/or me know immediately so we can partner with you for your safety and for the safety of others. You can trust that we will keep all this information confidential, balancing staff privacy and system safety needs.

In addition, the steps below (from the CDC website) MUST be taken if you have been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19:

As we all learn more about what June will bring in terms of processes, procedures, and what we can/can't yet do, you can trust that I will keep you informed.

No matter what, your safety is our priority.
