Do you know how LUCKY your students are to have you???

I've gotten great questions today. Will answer here and add to the FAQ document:

Q: Do families have to give consent for their kids to participate in virtual learning--especially Google Hangouts?

A: No, they have access to a passive consent letter that has been emailed to them and explained in my video. Unless you hear that a student IS NOT PERMITTED to join, they can.

Q: Grades are confusing in Skyward. What do we mark?

A: Thanks to the fabulous Michelle Burgess, the option of COMPLETE/INCOMPLETE is now available for all staff recording if you choose to use Skyward. These scores are NOT connected to GPA accrual, so feel free to use them. See below...

REMEMBER the focus is on FEEDBACK and following up to connect with kids who are not engaging.

These slides state that teachers/teams will reach out to families with details of the eLearning schedule this week and that 4th-8th grade teachers will review student email expectations as part of eLearning.

Reminders:

Grab and Go

We now distribute on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal!
